APARTMENT INTERIORS

Each property at Schaw House has an individual layout offering a mix of traditional and contemporary interiors whilst retaining much of the original character of the B listed building. Careful attention to detail has been shown throughout and wherever possible original features have been restored. All properties have well designed quality kitchens and bathrooms and a variety of attractive floor coverings in the public and circulation areas. Some properties have separate utility rooms, off either the kitchen or hall.

KITCHENS

Kitchens have been supplied and fitted by leading manufacturer, Commodore Kitchens. Designs incorporate Franke sinks, high quality appliances, including stainless steel oven, gas hob, microwave and cooker hood, integrated, combined or separate fridge and freezer and integrated dishwasher. An integrated combination washer/dryer is located within the kitchen design or is freestanding where properties have a separate utility room.

BATHROOMS AND SHOWER ROOMS

Quality white bathroom suites complemented by Hansgrohe brassware are fitted throughout. Bathrooms and shower rooms are tiled, mirrors are fitted above wash hand basins and showers over the majority of baths. Shaver sockets and chrome heated towel rails are installed as standard.

WINDOWS AND DOORS

Entrance and internal doors are a mix of contemporary flush painted or a new traditional panelled door and all fitted with satin nickel finished ironmongery. Generally, the single glazed sash and case windows have been carefully restored, but where replacement has been necessary these reflect the original style. Where there are fitted wardrobes, doors are finished with pre-selected oak veneer.

WALLS, CEILINGS AND FLOORS

Generally, hardwood flooring is installed in the majority of areas including public rooms. Solid oak timber flooring is fitted in the majority of the living areas, open plan kitchen areas and hallways. Bathrooms and shower rooms largely have floor tiles. The majority of utility rooms are fitted with marmoleum flooring whilst some have tiles. All walls are decorated in matt emulsion with woodwork in eggshell. A feature throughout the majority of properties is the high ceilings.

TELEPHONE AND TELEVISION POINTS

Each property has a number of telephone and television points installed throughout which will be individually wired to a communal television aerial. A communal satellite is also available for those wishing to subscribe.

CENTRAL HEATING AND SMOKE DETECTORS

The central heating and hot water gas-fired system is fully automated, complimented with radiators controlled by individual thermostats thoughtfully sited in rooms. Mains connected smoke detectors are installed in central positions in each property.

LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL

All properties have a combination of low voltage downlighters, wall lights, ceiling spots and pendants, with layouts designed to suit each property � please contact our selling agents for further details.

SECURITY AND CIRCULATION AREAS

Access to most apartments within Schaw House is gained through a grand entrance, and apartments on upper floors are serviced by a lift or staircase. Entry to each property, with the exception of main door properties, is controlled by video door entry system with an intercom located at the entrance and a handset located within th�e apartment. In the public areas illumination is provided by wall lights and the stairwells are carpeted. All entrance doors are fitted with doorbells and letterboxes.

GARDENS, REFUSE AND CAR PARKING

Purchasers of these properties will benefit from enjoying the mature landscape surrounding Schaw House. A discreet, sheltered refuse facility is located close to the building. A car parking space will be allocated to each property � please contact our selling agents for further details.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

All common areas within the development, including landscaping, stairwells, car parking, lighting, refuse areas, and passenger lift will become the responsibility of the Residents� Association and will be administered by a professional factor.

DOCUMENTATION

A pack of relevant manuals for each apartment will be given to the purchaser on handover of the individual properties.
